the floor felt dirty, it was off-putting. i understand the old plank floors, but it freaked me out.

i found the building itself beautiful (it really stood out). the rooms were lovely. the breakfast buffet offered generous options, and i especially enjoyed the scrambled eggs.

i noticed the floor was dirty, detracting from the otherwise clean environment. i understand old-fashioned plank floors are part of the charm, but cleanliness is key.
